Under general direction, The EMR/EMT skills assistant works under the supervision of the certified EMR/EMT instructor and is responsible for conducting training and evaluation in various emergency medical services disciplines. The skills assistant assists the instructor in providing skills training during the EMR/EMT program and is responsible for following national and state curriculums. The skills assistant provides hands-on training and evaluation of students during training scenarios and demonstrations.
