Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, perform semi-skilled to skilled maintenance, construction, and repair work on school buildings, sites, and equipment.
Requirements / Qualifications
Valid California Class C driver's license. These positions are generally 40 hrs/week, 12 months per year.
Graduation from high school (or equivalent) and three years of experience in general maintenance, building, and construction work with demonstrated skill in a specific trade area. The Maintenance Worker classification is a stand-alone classification performing semi-skilled to skilled duties either in a single trade or in several trades typically under the immediate direction of a journey-level skilled tradesperson.
