Job Summary
Technology Technician I will, under supervision of the Director of Information Technology, perform a variety of professional duties that involve assisting in operating and maintaining a computer network, assisting computer users in setting up new applications, installing and configuring computers and devices, connecting computers and devices to the network, and maintaining servers and performing minor computer or device repair.
Requirements / Qualifications
Required Attachments: Resume Three letters of recommendation, one must be from the current supervisor Copies of Transcripts (unofficial copies are fine for the application, official transcripts are only required upon hire) Copies of training certifications Candidates are welcome to attach any additional items.
Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school or possession of GED required, supplemented by course work in computer science, information systems, or a related field from an accredited college or university; Certification as a Cisco Network Associate or similar equivalencies for networks desired; Willingness to continue updating knowledge/skills necessary to maintain a quality technology component; One (1) year previous experience in the maintenance, installation, configuration, upgrades of hardware, software, and operating systems of computers and local area networks; operating technology-related systems; Possession of a valid California Class C Motor Vehicle Operator's License.
