Requirements / Qualifications
Qualifications/Experience: * Swimming experience, preferably on a CIF team or higher * Prior experience with swimming. * Prior coaching experience preferred. Required Licenses and/or Certificates: * Have current Activity Supervisor Clearance Certificate or Certificate of Clearance * First Aid and CPR certification (required when hired). * CIF concussion certification (required when hired).
Competency assessment will be administered. Upload attachments named exactly as stated (i.e., Letter of Recommendation) in order to be considered for this position.

Do you have a passion for swimming? Do you have experience coaching middle or high school athletics? If yes, we want you to apply for our Head Swimming Coach position.
The head swimming coach will work under the Direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Administrative Operations and the Division Coordinator to ensure successful handling of the assigned swimming team for the Charter. The Head Coach will handle all tasks of coaching and team management; select swimmers through a fair tryout system; manage team preparation, its rules and capabilities of the athletes; know the sports rules in order to train athletes successfully; remain kind and positive to all athletes, coaches, referees, and spectators; work with parents through a team parent meeting and throughout the season, as needed. The ideal candidate for this position will be a good mentor and role model for high school student athletes.

* Bonus will be paid after 90 days of employment (not applicable to current Springs employees).
