The starting salary range for this position is $125,000 - $135,000, based on education and experience. This position also qualifies for a one-time $7,000 signing bonus, paid in two installments after months 6 and 12 of employment (subject to change).

Job Summary

Job Summary

As Director of Human Resources, you are responsible for developing and managing the overall human resources strategy for Green Dot Public Schools California, with a focus on human resources operations, compliance, policies and employee relations. You work closely with Green Dot California’s leadership team to meet the human resources needs of a 1,000+ person organization across 18 schools and one regional office. You collaborate closely with the Human Capital team (which leads sourcing and hiring, learning and development and more). You oversee a department of approximately 5 team members and inspire a culture of high-quality results and continuous improvement. You will build and lead a team of problem-solvers who are committed to ensuring every employee receives the human resources services they need so they can focus on executing Green Dot California’s mission. You are a thoughtful collaborator who is mission-oriented, self-driven and has the ability to develop team members. You have a high-level of personal accountability and can balance competing priorities at once, while bringing joy to the work.
