Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Registrar, the Exam Proctor will be responsible for administering examinations to students. This position is part-time and seasonal, where proctors will be working during the midterms and final exam periods. • Administer exams to students following established exam protocols. • Provide verbal instructions to students that are accurate and clear. • Monitor activity in the classroom and building hallways during exams. • Maintain control in high tension and deadline situations; • Be quick to think and respond with appropriate judgment; • Bring issues immediately to the attention of the appropriate staff member. • Maintain a high standard of professional confidentiality and integrity. • Work with the appropriate level of assistance. • Proactively advise the Registrar’s staff with potential issues and regular updates. • Perform other duties as assigned.
