Instructional Assistants/Paraeducators, whether general education or special education, are required by law to be able to demonstrate knowledge of, and the ability to assist with, instruction, reading/language arts, and mathematics, either by possessing an Associate’s Degree or higher, 48 semester college units, or passing a minimum proficiency exam. Dublin Unified offers a proficiency exam.

Evidence of freedom from Tuberculosis dated within the preceding 60 days of start date is required.
