Valid Education Specialist California teaching credential, California ELA1 Authorization, or CLAD certificate required. Must be NCLB compliant Attached credential copy must include DETAILED credential information including the document number, authorization code, authorization description, issue date and expiration date. Such copies can be obtained using the link provided to the Commission on Teacher Credentialing website through the “Secured Search” option “SUITABLE FOR FRAMING” VERSIONS AND EXPIRED COPIES OF YOUR CREDENTIAL WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. 1. Go to the http;//www.ctc.ca.gov 2. Click on Search for an Educator 3. Click on Secured Search 4. Enter SS number and birth date 5. Click on the credential needed, print and scan it to EdJoin application PLEASE ATTACH TO EDJOIN APPLICATION • Resume • Copy of Credential • Three current letters of reference

The WSGV SELPA is launching a teacher residency credential program in partnership with Alder Graduate School of Education. Mentor teachers will have a teacher candidate placed in their classroom for the duration of the school year and serve as a model teacher for the teacher candidate. Mentor teachers will commit two hours each week to
collaborative planning time and understand the need for the teacher candidate to have experiences leading the classroom throughout the school year.
