Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the general supervision and in collaboration with an administrator, coordinates communications and information between the district and the community; assists with coordination of District programs, parent outreach, student resources, community partners and social services agencies. Assists parents by providing resources and community referrals; participates in required training and performs clerical duties; acts as a lead to the School Community Liaison. The primary duties of the position are to establish and maintain positive relationships between the District and community groups, community partners, social service agencies and mental health agencies.

Requirements / Qualifications

Answers to the supplemental questions, a copy of your High School diploma or evidence of equivalent educational proficiency, and transcripts verifying at least 6 units of college coursework (see minimum qualifications) must be submitted with your application. This resolution applies to all applicants upon hire. Applicants are required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination status to the Personnel Commission Office on the date of the examination. Applicants will not be allowed to take the examination without being fully vaccinated. People are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after completion of two doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
