Ability to work with children of all ages, grades, and skill levels Supervise children enrolled in extended day program Interact with the children at all times; when students are present, attention must be focused on them not on other adults or activities Implement a curriculum that reflects the mission and vision of Tzu Chi School and develop lesson plans that reflect that curriculum Responsible for making sure that all needed materials are ordered and available Set boundaries and activities for each day Oversee homework time, snack time, and planned activities Set up activities and materials before each day’s program and clean up before leaving each day Check to make sure that homework is done and help children keep track of their belongings Handle discipline fairly with firmness but understanding and make sure that the principal is aware of any discipline issues and document all issues in writing Report in writing any injuries or illnesses to the principal Trained in first aid and CPR Any and all other duties as assigned TA experience at least 1 year Job Type: Part-time Salary: From $20.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Schedule: Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
