Under the direction of the Special Education Director, the School Psychologist performs a variety of professional activities involved in the observation, assessment and identification of psychological, behavioral and educational needs of referred or identified students; develops/implements effective interventions, instructional approaches/strategies/methodologies; develops behavioral, affective and or adaptive goals for students; provides psychological counseling and guidance services to students and families; consults/collaborates with other school team members in the planning and evaluation of school programs and services to meet the special needs of students.
