About the Employer
Within Reach Learning Center in Mission Viejo provides small group tutoring taught in a fun environment. We help children from the ages of 5 to 10 improve their reading, math, and writing skills. The main purpose of the program is to get students excited about learning by taking a fun approach to this traditional subject. We are activity based. We want students to love coming to class and love their teacher.

Job Summary
*Teach Classes (kids come 2x a week for an hour each time in groups of 6) *Class Management (controlling a group of 6 kids at one time is vital) *Be super fun but authoritative at the same time. *Admin Tasks (write progress reports, write thank you notes, set up birthday celebrations, prepare homework for students, etc.) *Cleaning/Sanitizing on Hourly Basis *Play Educational Games *Make a Difference : )
Requirements / Qualifications
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK: M-Th 2:00-6:30 in person. All other hours can be done on a flexible schedule and some remote work. I will have 20-25 hours a week. EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
EXPERIENCE:
- You must have experience working with a group of kids.
- Must be outgoing, enthusiastic with kids, fun, positive, and energetic.
- Be able to effectively control a group of 6-12 kids at one time.
- Detail oriented.
- Extremely reliable, punctual, professional.
- Ability to work independently.
- Keep consistent schedule that will not change.
- Be a fast learner and ability to take direction well.
