Job Summary
Under general direction of the Lead Application Developer, designs, develops and tests custom .NET web applications and tools. From inception to implementation, creates each application layer: user interface, services, repositories, and database objects. Develops applications using ASP.NET MVC 5 and C#, Bootstrap, jQuery, web services and MS SQL Server. Collaborates with project team to define scope, level of effort and schedule. Translates complex business requirements into scalable application features. Performs comprehensive testing to satisfy specified requirements and ensure coding standards and best practices. Produces responsive web designs that meets W3C accessibility standards within the UI.

The Internet and Media Services Department specializes in custom web applications and tools, multimedia projects and video production for other SCOE departments and external educational agencies and organizations. Projects will range from mid-size to large, complex, multi-year implementations that are used locally, statewide and globally.
EXAM PROCESS
Qualified applicants who pass the screening process will receive notice to participate in the next steps of the process, which will include a performance examination, and an oral examination (the oral examination is similar to an interview). Candidates proceeding to the final interview portion will be asked to submit one (1) recent letter of recommendation.
