Requirements / Qualifications
Education and/or Experience: * High School Diploma or the equivalent; and * 2 years of college (48 units + ), or Associate's degree (A. A.) or higher; or * Pass a local assessment of reading and math skills. Valid First Aid and CPR Certification desired. Tutoring experience a plus, and knowledge of SPED policies and processes and experience with special needs students is preferred.
Special Education competency test will be administered to all qualified applicants. Must upload the required documents or you will not be considered for this position. Upload attachments named exactly as stated (i.e., Letter of Recommendation).

The candidate will work 1:1 with a 1st grade student and guide him/her in instructional practices, curriculum, outside activities, physical education, electives and recess.
