Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Extended Day Program Coordinator, the Expanded Learning Program Supervisor supports the after school expanded learning program coordinated through the District Child Care Center. The position assists the Extended Day Program Coordinator in the development and implementation of enrichment opportunities for students enrolled in before and after school child care; and assists with supervision of the child care expanded learning program and employees.

Requirements / Qualifications

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE Any combination of experience and education that would likely provide the required knowledge and skill is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and skill would be: Experience: Minimum of four (4) years as a Childcare Coordinator of similar position. Education: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade. Desired: Associates Degree or higher; or 48 semester units from an institute of higher education; or Training or coursework in child growth and development, recreation, or a closely related field.
