Job Summary

Job Summary

This is a Classified Management position for Laguna Beach. The Director of Communications and Engagement will work under the general direction of the Superintendent of Schools and be responsible for the management of LBUSD's public information and community relations strategies, and the development and maintenance of community partnerships. This role will also be responsible for leading parent engagement efforts for LBUSD working with staff and community partners.

Requirements / Qualifications

Letter of Intent/Application Resume 2-3 Letters of Reference/Recommendation Additional Support Documentation regarding specialized training or education that relates to this position. Minimum Qualifications: Experience: At least five years of experience working in community relations, public information, or corporate relations preferred. Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher, or any combination of professional training or experience equivalent in a field directly related to position requirements.

There is one position available at 8.0 hours per day/5 days per week/12 months per year. This position is eligible for health and welfare benefits with a monthly (for 10 months) share of the premium cost. This position is eligible for: 17 paid holidays 22 days of vacation per year
