ROCKLIN UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT EMPLOYEES actively working in the same job classification must complete a Classified District Transfer Request form (available on our website at www.rocklinusd.org/ Departments/ Human Resources/ Employment). Please attach to the application in Ed-join in order to be considered. All other employees must submit an online application through Ed-join using a password-protected, In-District application. The password is available from the Human Resources Office (916-624-2428), or your site secretary. Optional attachments must be scanned and attached to the Ed-join application. EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS: High School Diploma or equivalent and 48 college units in Child Development, Social Services, Human Services or related field or equivalent experience, or A.A degree or higher, or pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction. (Attach evidence) EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of experience working with individuals who have special needs preferred. CERTIFICATES, LICENSE, REGISTRATIONS: Valid California Driver’s License QUALIFICATIONS: Paraprofessional Requirements: 1. High School diploma or the equivalent, AND 2. Two years of college - 48 units (attach evidence), OR 3. A.A. degree or higher - (attach evidence), OR 4. Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction. (If passed, attach CBEST, or evidence of passing a Paraprofessional Exam in compliance with the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA). Please attach evidence to the application in Ed-join. Applicants who have not previously met these requirements are welcome to apply, but if selected for an interview, will be contacted by Human Resources prior to their interview to take a Paraprofessional test at the District Office.
