Under general direction, provides onsite instructional support, mentoring, planning, and coaching to public/private family childcare providers, childcare center teachers, home visitors, and early learning and care providers in the community to enhance the quality of early care and education programs; develops partnerships with local school districts; performs related duties as assigned.

This office is establishing an open eligibility list. Any full-time, part-time or limited-term positions occurring during the life of this list may be filled from the eligibility list for this job classification.

EXAM PROCESS
Qualified applicants who pass the screening process will receive a notice indicating the next steps in the process, which is a performance exam and an oral exam. The performance exam is scheduled for 10/4/22.
Legislation requires employees in this position to provide proof of immunization against influenza, pertussis, and measles. Proof of immunization against influenza, pertussis, and measles will be requested, once an offer of employment has been extended.
This job classification requires a current Child Development Site Supervisor Permit.
In compliance with federal requirements, the position in this program requires proof of full vaccination as a condition of employment, unless a medical or religious exemption is approved by SCOE. If a vaccine exemption is granted, weekly testing will be required. There is no option for testing in lieu of vaccination without an approved vaccine exemption.
