Job Summary
In Search of, Heartfelt Heroes willing to use their talents to help students discover their own as part of the instructional team. The Paraprofessional assists individuals and/or groups of students in the instructional program in a classroom environment and/or on the playground. Employees in this classification may also be assigned to monitor student behavior in the cafeteria, on the playground, or in the bus area.
Requirements / Qualifications
PLEASE SUBMIT: Letter of introduction Resume Up to three (3) current letters of recommendation EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent 48 or more college semester units or a passing score on an exam that tests for the knowledge of, and the ability to assist in, the teaching of math, reading, and writing DESIRED: An Associate's degree or higher and some experience working with students, preferably those with disabilities OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Possession at time of hire, or within six (6) months of hire, a valid CPR certification and a First Aid certification. Periodic renewal required as a condition of continuing employment.
