We have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Human Resources, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility located at our campus in Temecula, CA. Under the direction of the Vice President of Human Resources, the Director of Human Resources, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) will be a strategic thinker who will plan, organize, oversee, coordinate, and supervise the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources talent acquisition process. The Director will review the work of staff performing difficult and complex professional and analytical work related to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Diversity Programs; develop the District's EEO Plan, and develop and implement programs for and promote diversity in the District's workforce. The Director is responsible for hand-on designing HR best practices with the goal of efficient and effective talent acquisition processes; will serve as the DEIA champion and will work collaboratively with employees to create and implement diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility immersion throughout the District.
In addition, this position will demonstrate collegial communication skills and collaborate at all levels throughout the District to ensure seamless integration of new programs, training, and tools that enhance and reinforce a high-performance, diverse, and inclusive culture that aligns with the District's values. This is an administrative position, exempt from overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act, with responsibility for formulation and recommendation of district policies, regulations and budget decisions related to the area of responsibility. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 1. A Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, public administration (or related field) (attach transcripts); AND 2. Six (6) years of professional experience working in Human Resources; INCLUDING 3. Two (2) years of relevant human resources experience in each of the following: a. Development and implementation of Equal Employment Opportunity plans and procedures b. Development and administration of equity and inclusion programs c. Oversight of full cycle talent acquisition d. Development and implementation of training for employees and administrators; AND 4. One (1) year of professional experience in a manager/supervisory capacity; AND 5. Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students and staff ***Before scanning attachments, remove/redact sensitive, confidential information such as date of birth, social security number, address and photograph*** SUBSTITUTIONS Substitutions for meeting the minimum qualifications for the education requirement are allowed, as follows: 1.
