POSITION PURPOSE: Under general direction of the Associate Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer with a dotted line to the Director of Enterprise Applications, the Human Resources (HR) Technology Analyst will provide thought-leadership on HR System related projects including modifications, customizations, upgrades, adoption of new functionality, complex reporting, and analytical use of data stored in HR systems. The Analyst will perform complex technical, and analytical work in support of general human resources functions and supporting systems. The Analyst is a subject matter expert for all HR systems and is responsible for the continuous improvement of our HRIS system as well as other HR technology. The analyst will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the IT function, leveraging expertise in business analysis and experience with HR systems to recommend and implement solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, educational technology, communications or related fields, or similar certified coursework in applicable fields of study. Professional training program specific to the position and directly related work experience, or a combination of education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Intermediate to senior level knowledge and skills in computer programming and software development, information processing, systems analysis, technical information equipment and systems, and/or application program packages and related technical functions.
- Thorough knowledge of Human Resources principles and practices, recruitment and selection techniques and procedures; classification, compensation; and benefit plans. General knowledge of leaves, ADA and workers' compensation administration; equal employment opportunity principles and practices; statistical analysis; applicable state and federal laws and regulations; and English grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
