Job Summary
The Lawndale Elementary School District is seeking to fulfill the position of Safety and Risk Management Coordinator. This is a management position, 8 hours/day that accumulates one paid sick day per month of employment. In addition, LESD pays 100% for employee only health/welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc). Dependent coverage is at a cost to the employee. Requirements / Qualifications
Required Documents: (must be attached to your EDJOIN application – pdf format works best): * Current Resume * Letter of introduction * Copy of your Bachelor's degree * Letters of recommendation (2) letters of recommendation (dated within 12 months) with at least one from a supervisor/evaluator with signatures.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in public administration, risk management or a related field or Associate in Risk Management (ARM) or Chartered Property/Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). Four years of increasingly responsible risk management or insurance experience, preferably including one year of administrative responsibility. LICENSES/CERTIFICATES/SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Possession of a valid California Drivers’ License. Insurability by the District's liability insurance carrier
