About the Employer

Modesto City Schools is a Pre-K through 12th grade district, serving approximately 30,000 students. The District is one of the largest employers in Stanislaus County, with over 3,200 employees. It is divided into three divisions: Business Services, Educational Services and Human Resources. An Associate Superintendent oversees each division and a variety of programs, such as Early Childhood Education, Child Welfare & Attendance, Special Education, Nutrition Services and Transportation. Requirements / Qualifications

Any combination equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, food service management, culinary arts or institutional food service; registered dietitian nutritionist status and three years progressively responsible experience in quantity food preparation.

Licenses/Certificates: Valid California Driver’s License Must provide DMV printout within five work days of offer of employment Maintain participation in CA DMV Assessment System/Automatic Pull Program Valid Food Handlers Permit (ServSafe Certificate or its equivalent) Incumbents are required to adhere to the annual minimum required training hours per the USDA Guide to Professional Standards for School Nutritional Programs Maintain a current registration as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
