Job Summary

Job Summary

The Personnel Services Technician has the responsibility of providing a variety of clerical and confidential human resources related duties in support of the Personnel Services Department; responding to inquiries from staff and the public; securing substitutes for instructor absences; providing general information; directing host callers to appropriate individuals/locations; providing requested information and/or referral to other parties; and performs related duties as required.

DESIRABLE: Associate Degree or higher in human resources or closely related field. Experience working in an ROP JPA, school district or county office. Valid California Driver’s License and ability to maintain insurability status under Baldy View ROP vehicle insurance policy is required. TESTING: Applications will be screened for minimum qualifications as they are received. Those who meet the minimum qualifications will be e-mailed an invitation for testing tentatively scheduled for September 22, 2022. Interviews (tentatively) September 26, 2022 Tentative Position Start date: October 17, 2022

Per California State Public Health Officer issued Order, public and private schools serving students in transitional kindergarten through grade 12, inclusive, are required to verify that all workers in these school sites or facilities are fully vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2. Employees working in facilities that are subject to the Order shall provide evidence of full vaccination or undergo weekly diagnostic screening testing as a mandatory requirement to work for Baldy View Regional Occupational Program (BVROP).
