Job Summary
Under general supervision of the Facilities/Security Manager, to perform those custodial services required to maintain assigned facilities or areas in a clean, orderly, and secure manner; and other duties directly related to this class description. Incumbents perform a variety of custodial tasks at assigned work location and overseas and lead the night shift crew to maintain buildings, assigned equipment, grounds, and surrounding areas of a school in a clean, sanitary, safe, and orderly manner. Will be required to work overtime as assigned by supervisor. May work as part of a crew or independently on routine tasks. There are 3 work shifts that can be assigned day shift, mid shift, and night shift.
Requirements / Qualifications
12 month – 260 days per year, 8 hrs. per day 12 sick days/12 vacation days/14 paid holidays Minimum Qualifications: • Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth (12th) grade • A minimum of two (2) year experience in the performance of custodian duties. • Experience as a lead for a custodial crew, is preferred. • Any combination of training and experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities.
