Job Summary

Under the direction of the Director I, Tobacco-Use Prevention Education (TUPE), this position provides support for support a broad range of Student Services, as well as Staff Development, including, but not limited to, training of staff regarding selected science-based, research-validated, curriculum, supporting staff trained in Brief Intervention, through follow-ups and booster trainings, supporting districts in evaluating and updating best practices related to alternative to suspension programs and models of progressive discipline, supporting staff education related to cessation referral resources, development and maintenance of social and emotional learning (SEL) materials and trainings, co-facilitating trainings of TUPE Site Coordinators in all consortium schools, and providing direct TUPE services for pregnant and parenting minors. Requirements / Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree (Required) Valid Clear California Teaching Commission Credential (Required) A minimum of three (3+) years educational or related experience in a county and/or district office and/or other organization leading successful district and/or school improvement efforts (Required) A minimum of three (3+) years experience in managing projects specifically (Required) A minimum of two (2+) years exposure to a Tobacco Program preferred (Required) Valid California driver’s license, reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record Read Job Description for a complete list of job requirements and experience required
