Job Summary
Join our highly talented Special Education team as an educator in one of our unique Roving Teacher positions. These positions will fill-in for absent teachers or provide additional teaching support where needed. You will be supported by a highly trained staff of Paraeducators, dedicated classroom Registered Behavior Technicians, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, and a well-rounded staff of other talented service providers. We are also proud to be able to offer the continuous support of our two (2) Mentor Teachers, seasoned and passionate Special Education Teachers whose mission is to help our teachers thrive in their professional careers.
Requirements / Qualifications

If you are not yet credentialed or already in a program we highly encourage you to look into the Golden State Teacher Grant Program (see link in the posting). The Golden State Teacher Grant Program (GSTG) encourages students to consider earning a teaching credential and teach in a high-need field, at a priority school, in California for four years, within five years after completing a teacher preparation program. The California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) may award $20,000 GSTGs to over 4,400 eligible students across California, that are enrolled in a Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) approved teacher preparation program on or after January 1, 2020. Grant applicants must agree to all terms and conditions of the GSTG program or be required to repay the grant. NCSOS qualifies as a priority school and our Special Education teacher positions are considered "high-need fields".
