Job Summary

PAYROLL ANALYST Under the supervision of the Chief Fiscal Services Officer or designee, perform complex and technical accounting work related to preparation of the District payroll including certificated, classified, hourly, and daily employees; monitor payment of employee benefits and voluntary deductions; prepare a variety of required payroll reports. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications

Payroll Analyst Location: Fiscal Serv. Work Days: 232 To begin: ASAP Work Week/Duty Hours: Monday thru Friday; Hrs. 7:30am - 4:00pm. Qualifications Education/Certification/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; three (3) years of experience involving financial or statistical record-keeping including at least one (1) year of payroll experience. An assessment will be part of the selection process. Desired Qualification: Associates Degree in accounting and/or finance; prior school district payroll experience.
