<b><i>This position will function both remotely and in-person and serves students at the San Andreas, CA and Minden, NV High School sites. The applicant will need to be able to work in person, daily, at one of the two school sites and will make some in-person visits to the other site, depending on the needs of the program.</i></b> The Rite of Passage '7/24/365' residential treatment sites have enabled thousands of at-risk youth to move beyond their troubled home lives and negative former school experiences. Providing dramatic behavioral and lifestyle changes, the Rite of Passage treatment programs provide a unique, proactive setting for education. Job Purpose Statement: Serves under the supervision of the Principal. Primary functions are to facilitate special education student’s success in academics, interpersonal skills and activities daily living through implementing approved curriculum; documenting student progress/activities, outcomes; addressing specific needs of student and to improve all student’s success in academics (e.g. reading).

Requirements - Special Education credential (required) - Dual credential (desirable) Signing Bonus for new ECTA bargaining unit members (pro-rated for less than full time): - 1st year - $5,000 - 2nd year - $5,000 (Bonus given at completion of year one and year 2)
