Requirements / Qualifications
If you are not currently or never have been a Paraprofessional for VUSD, you must ATTACH proof of the following: Completion of a Paraprofessional Instructional Assistance course OR Passing score on District Paraprofessional Exam
We schedule the Paraprofessional Exams by appointment only Monday and Friday 9am/10am/11am. The exam is one hour in length, paper/pencil, and the content is K-12 education (reading, spelling, grammar, punctuation, math, etc.) A score of 70% or higher is passing and we will provide a PDF certificate to you via e-mail by the end of the day to attach to your application. Please e-mail Marissa, Megan or Sharon to schedule.
