Job Summary
Under the direction of the Chief Administrative Officer, directs the planning, development, implementation, internal auditing, and financial management of the fiscal services department for a K-12 School District; supervises, trains, and evaluates the performance of assigned personnel. This position serves as principal liaison with the Los Angeles County Office of Education; California Department of Education; Internal Revenue Service; and other intergovernmental agencies as the district's primary source of contact on accounting and budget reports.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and three years experience in professional accounting, auditing, business management, or budget analysis. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) status or completion of education requirements necessary to obtain a CPA and/or Chief Business Officer (CBO) certification through an accredited organization. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid California Class 3 C Driver's License with proof of insurance.
