Job Summary

Job Summary

Early Head Start (EHS) program tailors services for children age birth to 3 years, and pregnant women to improve outcomes in cognitive, language and social-emotional development through weekly home visits. Referrals and access to community resources, group socialization activities and preschool readiness are offered. We work in partnership with Sacramento employment Training Agency Early Head Start (EHS).

Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • AA in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, at least six (6) of the ECE units must be in Infant & Toddler development.
  • PLUS at least one (1) year of successful work experience in an infant/toddler program or in a Head Start program.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, communications, and counseling skills.
  • Able to influence people in a positive manner, prioritize responsibilities, and build rapport with a wide variety of individuals.
