Requirements / Qualifications

- Possess (or be in the process of obtaining) a valid and appropriate California Driver's License. Must demonstrate Highly Qualified status using the following education requirements • Possession of a High School Diploma or equivalent AND any one of the following: - Completion of two (2) years of higher education study (48 semester units or 72 quarter units) - Possession of an Associate’s degree or higher degree - Passage of a Fontana Unified School District (FUSD) approved Paraprofessional Exam or possession of an FUSD approved Paraprofessional Certificate. Proof of certificates, education, etc. will be required upon recommendation for employment. - Please read "Job Description/Essential Elements" above to review additional required experience for this position. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION: - Experience working with individuals with special needs, such as: learning disabilities, physical disabilities, emotional disabilities and behavioral disorders. - Experience working with children under the age of 18 in an educational setting.
