Requirements / Qualifications

Qualifications: Applicants must possess valid California Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential, and a valid California Single Subjects Teaching Credential in Physical Education, or Supplementary in Physical Education. Eligibility for NCLB Certificate of Compliance, and certification to instruct English language learner students required. All persons with a Multiple Subjects Credential are encouraged to apply. Department of Justice fingerprint clearance must be completed prior to the first day of employment at a cost of $62 to the employee. Individuals who serve in this position are required to participate in an annual training program on mandated reporting, and on the prevention of contagious diseases through blood-borne pathogens.

Salary: Placement on the Certificated Salary Schedule based on years of experience. A stipend of $500 for a Master's Degree.
