THE POSITION
The General Services department is currently accepting applications for the Custodian position. The individual in this position will clean and maintain assigned school facilities, group of buildings, office spaces and adjacent grounds, belonging to the Santa Clara County Office of Education, in a clean, orderly, and secure manner. Employees in the class receive direct to general supervision within a framework of standard policies and procedures. Employees in this class exercise responsibility for the general cleanliness of assigned location(s) and facilities.
This position has three vacancies which are grant funded through June 30, 2022.

The most qualified candidates will be invited to participate in a panel interview with subject matter experts, tentatively scheduled for September 14, 2022. Based on the final scores of qualified candidates, Classified Personnel Services will establish a ranked candidate list. Selected candidates from the list will be invited to a second interview with the hiring authorities tentatively scheduled for the week of Monday, September 21, 2022. Candidates will be invited over email to participate in examination and selection steps, using the email supplied within their Governmentjobs.com applications, or as updated by candidates in Governmentjobs.com master profiles.
