Requirements / Qualifications
Perform general clerical, data entry, and other administrative functions to support the Curriculum and Instruction Department as related to instruction, assessment, and student learning. Independent judgment, initiative, and superior communication, data entry and analysis, and secretarial skills are required. May train and direct the work of other office personnel. Example of Duties: • Organizes and assists with the maintenance of the District’s chosen curriculums and educational technology platforms and responds to questions concerning curriculum services. • Monitors and supports special projects, meetings, and events for the Curriculum and Instruction Department. • Organizes and maintains department files pertaining to assigned areas of responsibility; maintains purchase order file with updated account expenditures for all budgets in the Curriculum and Instruction Department. • Maintains the Curriculum and Instruction Department calendar and a continuing inventory of supplies, textbooks, online licensures and other teaching and learning materials. • Distributes Curriculum and Instructional Materials. • Creates user accounts and passwords for educational technology platforms utilized by the District. • Maintains timesheets, absences, payroll, and other employee records for certificated and classified staff as assigned. • Maintains the confidentiality of pupil records. • Coordinates State and Federal mandated student testing with related departments within the District (i.e. ELPAC, CAASPP, CAST, PFT, etc.). • Attends meetings, conferences and workshops at the county and state level to keep current with State regulation and compliance issues for mandated data collection and testing; disseminates information to test site coordinators to ensure compliance with State regulations. • Acts as liaison between LEA and test contractors for all matters related to mandated testing programs. There will be a secretarial test given.
