Job Summary
Alliance College-Ready Public Schools is seeking a Manager, Data Strategy to report to the Director, Data Strategy and support our Data Strategy team in the Alliance Home Office. This role will serve as a member of the Data & SIS team. This team of four managers leads work in five key areas: reporting on network-wide school performance data, administering our PowerSchool Student Information System, reporting accurate data for compliance and oversight purposes, administering assessments, and providing top-notch customer service to our schools on their requests related to the systems and data we maintain. Requirements / Qualifications
THE IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE/BE: - Experience in a similar data analytics role or in analyzing and visualizing large datasets using different tools; - Experience with conducting data analysis and visualization using programming languages like Stata, R or Python preferred; knowledge of Tableau is a plus; - Experience with database management using SQL preferred; - Excellent verbal and written communications skills; - Strong organization and project management skills with the ability to juggle competing short term and long term priorities; - Enthusiasm to problem solve and improve efficiency of existing processes; - Patient and detail-oriented; cares deeply about ensuring data quality; - Willingness to learn new skills/ tools quickly and function effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; - Flexible, optimistic approach, and comfort with change and ambiguity; - Penchant for problem solving using different data tools, and the ability to synthesize and translate complex information for use in decision making by a variety of audiences.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - At least 3 years of professional work experience and a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university; OR - At least 5 years of professional work experience and a HS Diploma or equivalent (e.g. G.E.D.) - At least 2 years of experience in data analytics and visualization preferred.

In alignment with our commitment to equity for our scholars, Alliance is committed to equity and transparency for our team and offers competitive salaries commensurate with experience and education, as well as an employer-sponsored 403b plan annual contribution equal to 5% of regular earnings, and a comprehensive group health benefits package, including medical, dental and vision. This position is exempt. The compensation range for this position is $67,000 - $93,000. To allow room for growth in compensation, the maximum initial salary placement is 80% of the range.
