*** See Job Description for details *** MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: • Must possess a valid California Library Services Credential, Library Media Teacher Service Credential or a valid teaching credential issued by the Commission for Teacher Preparation and Licensing designated completion of the specialized area of Librarianship. • Must have a minimum total of three (3) year's successful classroom teaching experience and/or successful school library experience. • Must have a familiarity with information retrieval systems and on-line catalog service. • Desired Qualifications: o Advanced work in the field of Library Science. o Ability to work well with both adults and young people. o Highly skilled in time and material management and organization. o Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. o Demonstrated leadership ability in developing and expanding library programs.
