Requirements / Qualifications
Bella Vista High School is looking for an energetic, creative and talented Director to lead their Marching Band, Drumline and Drill Squad.
The full-time teaching assignment will include: Jazz Ensemble/Pep Arts, Advanced Concert Band, Concert Band, Guitar, and Freshman Seminar.
Extra-curricular responsibilities include Marching Band, Drumline and Drill Squad.
Scheduled practice and performance times beyond the school day are a requirement of the marching band, specifically the following scheduled rehearsals and performances:
1. Marching Band rehearsals beyond the school day. (2 times/week)
2. Band section rehearsals (1 time/week)
3. Drumline
4. Drill squad
5. All scheduled performances such as competitions, football games, festivals, pep assemblies, parades, concerts, etc.
The Bella Vista Marching Band ( https://www.bellavistaband.org ) is a successful competitive program with a proud tradition of excellence in the community and throughout the region. Support funding is provided by a very active Band Booster Club.
