*** See Job Description for details *** MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: • Must hold a valid California Administrative Services Credential • Must have at least three (3) years of teaching experience in Special Education. • Desired Qualifications: o Bilingual Spanish preferred; o A Master's Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning, preferably in Special Education or a related field; o Experience in working with children with a wide range of exceptional needs; o Knowledge of research findings, recent trends, and current legislation relating to the education of students with disabilities; o High School Experience; o An understanding of and commitment to developing and maintaining appropriate programs for students with disabilities; o Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form; o Ability to develop and maintain cooperative relationships with lay and professional individuals and groups, District staff, and parents; o Ability to work effectively with professional and paraprofessional personnel; o Ability to interact effectively and in a timely manner with multiple constituencies including teachers, paraprofessionals, parents, and District personnel. o Experience in providing educational opportunities for students with diverse cultural and economic backgrounds; o Availability of private transportation
