The Enrollment Services Department of the Long Beach Community College District is seeking a highly qualified individual for a current opportunity as the Director, Admissions and Records. This incumbent will have specialized and in-depth knowledge of regulations, policies, educational codes, and guidelines governing community college admissions and records, international students, and veterans programs. Additionally, the incumbent will have in-depth knowledge of regulations governing admissions, residency, enrollment, student fees, attendance accounting as it pertains to student and course records, maintenance of instructor and student records, international students, transcript evaluation, certificate of achievement completion, graduation, and attendance accounting for state and federal audit standards, requirements, and processes
We are looking for someone who has obtained a Bachelor's Degree with a major in education, business, public administration, or related discipline. Additionally, this candidate must have six (6) years of progressive experience in an admissions/enrollment and records function, including two (2) years in a leadership capacity; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. • Salary: MGT Range 11: $112,155 - $152,811 Annually
• Advanced salary placement: Generally, new employees start at the first step on the salary schedule. Advanced salary placement may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Duties
GENERAL PURPOSE
Plans, directs, and administers an integrated and comprehensive admissions and records department responsible for student admissions, registration, enrollment, graduation evaluation, and record services for a diverse student population. Directs and prepares mandated reporting of student information to ensure compliance with all regulations governing aspects of Admissions and Records, International Student, Scholarship, and Veterans programs. Acts as liaison between District and external agencies including federal and state auditors. Serves as College Registrar and Primary Designated Signing Official (PDSO) for International Student program.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION:
Education, Training and Experience:
This classification requires a Bachelor's Degree with a major in education, business, public administration, or related discipline and six (6) years of progressive experience in an admissions/enrollment and records function, including two (2) years in a leadership capacity; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Licenses and Certificates
May require a valid driver's license and the ability to maintain insurability under the District's vehicle insurance policy.
Meeting the minimum requirements of the position does not guarantee advancement in the selection process. Candidate qualifications will be assessed to determine those who meet and exceed requirements, and are deemed most competitive amongst the applicant pool to proceed.
