Under the direction of assigned administrator, support the Special Education Department in a variety of clerical and data-related tasks to ensure efficiency of department functions, the proper placement of students, and to ensure compliance with State and federal laws, codes, rules and regulations.
Requirements / Qualifications
2223-1 (OPEN AND PROMOTIONAL) An examination will be given to establish an eligibility list for the position of Student Data Technician in order to fill current and future vacancies. These positions are full time, 8 hours per day, 260 paid days a year. Applications will be accepted until Tuesday, August 24 2022 (4:30 p.m.) Faxed materials are not acceptable. Qualified candidates will be invited to participate in an oral examination. ORAL BOARD EXAMINATION: The Oral Board/Performance-Based Examination will be given by appointment only. Following the conclusion of the Oral Board Examination, the candidates will be ranked and notified of their scores.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school or equivalent GED and three years of responsible clerical experience, including experience working with student information systems. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Successful passage of the District's Job Related Proficiency Test. See District's website for full Job Bulletin
