Requirements / Qualifications
TRAINING & EXPERIENCE: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade; supplemented by or including courses in office organization or secretary skills; preferably including experience in a school district; or any combination of training and/or experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities. BILINGUAL REQUIRED: must be able to speak, read and write in Spanish. LICENSE/CERTIFICATE: First Aid Certificate; Typing Certificate, dated within the last six (6) months. NO ON-LINE TYPING CERTIFICATES ACCEPTED. Typing Tests are provided in Human Resources. A completed on-line application is required in order to be considered for this opening. Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is a K-8 district. The successful candidate must be able to accomplish the following responsibilities in a friendly efficient, and professional manner The School Clerk-Bilingual will: Coordinate student registration activities; assist parents with proper completion of forms. Is responsible for all aspects of student attendance accounting including: registering students, posting program changes, withdrawals, and residence changes, monitoring and recording student attendance, and classroom assignments. Provide verbal and written translations, Spanish/English, for school personnel as needed. Perform other related work as required.
