Job Summary

Madison High School has a full time, 11 month assignment vacancy. The Senior Army Instructor is assigned within the high school Army JROTC program. The Senior Army Instructor is directed by the Principal and Vice Principal to properly instruct cadets and manage the JROTC unit in accordance with military regulations and district policies and procedures.

Requirements / Qualifications

Qualified applicants must be certified by the United States Army Cadet Command JROTC Headquarters and meet eligibility requirements established by the sponsor military service in accordance with public law. Must be a retired Warrant Officer or Army Major thru Colonel with no less than 20 years of service and meet body fat requirements. Achieve a passing score on the CBEST within 1 year and PE CSET exams within 4 years. Ability to obtain ROTC credentials via the pathway above. Applicants must have a valid California driver’s license and be prepared to conduct, participate in, and travel to sites, professional development sessions, workshops, and meetings.
