Job Summary
The St. Alphonsus School is looking for a Dual Language teacher self-contained 5th grade classroom to teach multiple subjects in Spanish and English. The ideal candidate will be motivated, enthusiastic, team oriented, able to meet student needs by: • creatively supplementing materials to improve curriculum, • use data to improve instruction, • demonstrate flexibility with planning, • effectively communicate with parents/guardians proactively and on a regular basis. We are a 1:1 iPad school and our teachers provide quality educational experiences whether it’s on-campus and in-person, via distance learning, or supporting 1+ students via livestream with Zoom interaction.
Requirements / Qualifications
• Fluent Spanish and English for our 5th Grade Dual Language Program • Bachelor Degree • MA or Clear California Credential Preferred • Basic Catechist Certificate • Fingerprinting Virtus • 1-3 years classroom experience • Competitive salary
