THE POSITION The Technology & Data Services Division is currently accepting applications for the position of Web Developer/Programmer. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and developing web-based applications. A broad experience in sql, html, css, javascript, and server-side programming will be important in excelling in this position. Examples of applications the team has created include business process automation, ERP ETL, data dashboarding, and Human Resource Management Systems. Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, design, develop, analyze, implement and maintain highly complex web-based business applications for the Santa Clara County Office of Education, districts, schools and community; code, test and script programs and databases using web-based interactive technologies; communicate with users and project team members to recommend design options, determine functionality, simulations and programming needed for system requirements.
