Job Summary
Under general direction, to serve as secretary to the principal of an elementary or intermediate school; to assist the principal by relieving him/her of clerical details; acts as a liaison between teachers, custodians, district staff, parents, and visitors; to perform a wide variety of responsible clerical work of greater than average difficulty; designate, assign, and coordinate work for clerical support staff; act in a public relations/information capacity on behalf of the school; and to do related work as required.
