Job Summary

The Program Specialist, SELPA (Special Education Local Plan Area) provides support in the form of consultation, coaching, one-on-one and group presentations, classroom support, and information for effective educational, behavioral, and transitional strategies for general educators, special educators, designated instruction and services personnel, and others providing instructional services to children and adolescents with disabilities.

Requirements / Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Possession of a valid California Speech Language Pathology Services or Clinical or Rehabilitative Services in Language, Speech, and Hearing credential; • Possession of a Master’s degree in Communicative Disorders or a related field from a regionally accredited college or university; • Three (3) years of experience working with students in need of deaf and hard of hearing services.
