Job Summary
The San Diego County Office of Education is recruiting to fill a vacancy for a Systems Analyst in the PeopleSoft Support unit of the Services and Solutions department. The Systems Analyst will provide support by troubleshooting and resolving system issues, providing training for users, and testing implementations and enhancements for the PeopleSoft system. This is a full-time position and will offer the classified support benefits package, which includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, and participation in the CalPERS state retirement system. Under general supervision, the Systems Analyst provides technical guidance and support to SDCOE and school district staff in the testing, training, and troubleshooting of computerized information system(s), including delivering training sessions, conducting needs assessments, maintaining training records, defining system requirements, developing test plans, analyzing test failures, and providing support to users of the system in troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Requirements / Qualifications
The Systems Analyst position requires a combination of education and experience equivalent to five (5) years of related information systems work experience, including significant support work within a human resources, payroll or finance system or other complex data system. PeopleSoft experience, particularly in the HCM Time and Labor module strongly preferred.
