We have an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Technician II position located at our campus in Temecula, CA. Under general supervision of the Vice President of Human Resources Officer or designee, the Human Resources Technician II, performs a variety of technical, administrative, and advanced level clerical duties in support of the Human Resources department; provides information and assistance to District employees and the general public regarding human resources activities, processes, policies, and procedures; prepares various correspondence and memoranda; coordinates activities related to area of assignment; and performs a variety of tasks requiring specialized knowledge related to area of assignment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 1. Associate degree (*attach transcript); AND 2. Three (3) years experience in a Human Resources environment or business office performing high level clerical and technical duties, including the use of Applicant Tracking System and HRIS; AND 3. Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty and staff ***Before scanning attachments, remove/redact sensitive, confidential information such as date of birth, social security number, and photograph*** SUBSTITUTIONS Substitutions for meeting the minimum qualifications of this position are allowed. Please refer to the Substitution Policy included in the Tips for Applying section. 1. Substitutions for the education requirement are allowed, up to a maximum of two (2) years DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS 1. Bachelor's Degree 2. Experience in an academic or public agency environment 3. Six (6) years Human Resources experience
